The St. John Choir is made up of both volunteer and professional musicians. In worship, they are drawn together by St. John’s tradition of singing music which has theological and artistic integrity, whatever its style or age, whether written in the Renaissance or last year, whether in the classical or the folk tradition. The choir’s primary purpose is to provide musical leadership for worship. Their anthems and hymns are selected to illuminate the lectionary-appointed scripture for the day.
