Children and Youth

At St. John, we believe in our kids and in our biblical responsibility to our kids. We strive for a program that is centered on love, growth, and fun. We love to work together intergenerationally, too! Our children and youth help hand out food with our food pantry, sort clothes for the closet, decorate our Chrismas tree together, serve on ministry teams, and so much more. All God’s children of any age are an important part of our church family.

Children are welcome in worship! There are pew bags and Children’s Worship Bulletins available outside the door by the office to help keep short attention spans entertained.  There is a Children’s Moment during the first half of the worship service where children are invited down to the front for special time.  After the children’s moment little ones 5 and under are welcome to join the babies in the nursery, or stay with their parents in worship.

We offer Sunday School Year Round! Our children’s classes follow the Sparkhouse Lectionary Curriculum.
