Connect with our church family

Family Events and Adult Groups

Beyond Sunday School and Worship, there are many ways to connect with our church family!  We love intergenerational events and offer several throughout the year (link to Get Connected page with list of annual events) as well as our young adults, women, and men’s groups.

United Women of Faith

Formerly United Methodist Women, as it fosters spiritual growth and develops leaders, United Women in Faith seeks to improve the lives of women, children, and youth in the United States and internationally. Our St. John United Women of Faith meet monthly on Monday evenings for a study or program and often for a meal. We offer a spring tea every year for the women of St. John and our community, and we hold an annual Women’s Retreat in the Spring. We provide meals for the St. John Towers community, and we serve in many other areas. Women of all ages are welcome!

United Methodist Men

The General Commission on United Methodist Men (UMMen) involves men in a growing relationship to Jesus Christ and his church and provides resources and support for programs of evangelism, stewardship, and the needs of men. Our St. John UMM hold programs and meetings through the year, and sponsor the Vivian Stoppelbien Scholarship for college and graduate St. John students.

Young Adults

We have a thriving Young Adult Group (20s-mid30s)  that gathers monthly for fellowship. Past events have included dinners hosted by members, Christmas Caroling to some of our homebound members, and Bibles and Brews at a local brewery. We’d love to welcome you into fellowship with us.
