Kindermusik is an international organization introducing little children to music and movement in ways that are developmentally appropriate and lots of fun.

St. John Church established Kindermusik of Augusta in 1995 to provide high-quality musical instruction for preschoolers, from birth to 6 years old. Our classes introduce the child to a rich array of musical expression. While they have fun with music, children develop fine and gross motor skills, language, emotional and social skills, and cognitive ability.

We believe that parents and caregivers are the child’s best teachers. So Kindermusik provides at-home access to classroom songs, books, and instruments to enhance your child’s learning and fun even on non-class days. The curriculum is not intended to develop children as performers.  We seek to develop musical children – not child musicians. However, our classes for older children begin teaching the fundamentals of music to help ease them into formal instrument or vocal training by age 7.
